download free college planning resources
eCampusTours offers a variety of downloadable college planning resources to share with students and parents. Our video on "How to Get Money for College" is useful during college and career nights or as a warm-up before financial aid workshops, and our college funding guide booklets include information about the financial aid process and different sources of education funding.

tools for students and parents
eCampusTours assists students and parents in choosing a college and in their college planning by enabling them to save their favorite articles and virtual campus tours by creating a portfolio. In creating this portfolio, they may register for a $1000 scholarship giveaway and register to receive Edadvisor, our free college planning newsletter and e-mail reminder service to remind them of financial aid deadlines. They may contact the college admissions office and submit their general and academic information, or they may schedule an actual campus visit with participating colleges and universities. Once logged in, they may also download a free copy of our college funding booklet.

continuing education opportunity in career counseling
Although the school counseling community has made great strides in recognizing the need for a specialized curriculum addressing career planning, many individuals serving in this capacity have not been formally trained in providing career assistance. To meet this need, the credential of Career Development Facilitator (CDF) has been established by the National Occupation Information Coordinating Committee (NOICC). Educational Training Associates, Inc. is particularly interested making this certification more accessible through its e-learning course, Facilitating Career Development.
