The Edwin A. Stevens Building (EAS Building) was constructed in 1870 as the main building for the campus. This federally registered landmark was designed by Richard Upjohn, whose work includes the Trinity Church in Manhattan. Today, it is the home of the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science.
